About the journal

The Portuguese Economic Journal is a tri-annual journal published by Springer-Verlag since 2002. It aims to publish high quality theoretical, empirical, applied or policy-oriented research papers on any field in economics. ISEG, the School of Economics and Management of the Technical University of Lisbon, is the copyright holder.

The Portuguese Economic Journal has been accepted for Social Science Citation Index, Social SciSearch and ISI Alerting Services in October 2006, and will first appear in the 2008 Journal Citation Reports (JCR), to be published in June 2009.

The journal is available online in more than 5000 libraries around the world and is indexed in: E-JEL, EBSCO, ECONIS, EconLit, ISI Alerting Services, JEL on CD, Journal of Economic Literature, Research Papers in Economics (RePEc), SCOPUS, Social Science Citation Index (SSCI), Social Science Research Network (SSRN), Social SciSearch.
